Well, not a sense of spelling (Wiccan). My Wiccan friend says, "always a respect for magic." That is, be prepared to taste your own medicine if you choose to use magic to nefarious ends. More tangibly, I'd say white sage, a.k.a. desert sage. This is a staple for cleansing the altar or any space. It's the one smell I learned to love by association with my friend. I was lucky enough to find some growing in the California desert once. Shy of that, try calling the Herb Room in Santa Cruz, CA. Here's there Yelp listing:
