Mike Huckabee is now 22 points ahead of Mitt Romney.

I guess that speech he made yesterday, did not help much.

Why does it matter? No republican is going to win the next election because of the geniuses in the current administration.

I think he is losing groud and Huckabee is doing a tremendous job of breaking away right now. He is extremely eloquent when he speaks, and I this this will go a long way for the GOP in that we as a country have now endured almost 8 years of the exactly opposite. It is refreshing to hear someone speak well.

That being said, I am a democrat and will not be supporting him, but I would not at all be surprized if Huckabee makes it onto the ticket in one form or another.

Huckabee came from nowhere and people jumped on his bandwagon. As they learn more about him they will fall off and by time time the primaries start Romney and Giuliani will be aheld of him.

i'm not sure but i think the fact that he's a mormon, and that seems to be all people are talking about, may have something to do with it.
npr was comparing him to kennedy being catholic, but basically bashing him, saying he could never give a speech like kennedy did and so he's already lost.
...? libs, does that make any sense?
