Not a whole hell of a lot (minus the overt violence.) Read up on Mussolini during world war II, his form of rule was a form of CORPORATISM....aka an alliance between government and big business. You control the money, you control everything else.

The terms Democrat and Republican don't mean anything. As for liberals being fascist, I would put them more on the course for socialism. Think of Communist Russia vs. Fascist Italy......not quite the same thing, their common denominator, THE PEOPLE are not in control.

I wasn't going to answer this question but I saw the one about liberals being Fascist and thought I should say something. A liberal is closer to being a communist that a fascist and more of a socialist than a communist.
A fascist believes the goverment should control the lives, a neo con I believe believes that the Christian religion should control everyones life. I am not certain tho.

The word neoconservative is an oxymoron meaning "new we maintain".

The word fascist is derived from the Latin term, fac (fec) or "to make" as in "to make a bundle". The word feces is from the same Latin root.

Since liberal demophytes want to make people do what is good for them a fascist would be a liberal democrat (as in forcing others to reduce their carbon footprint Ala Gore).

Since neocon is an oxymoron, a term composed of contradictory meanings, neocons cannot exist except in the delusions of paranoid liberal demophytes.

The answer is:

A fascist is a liberal democrat. A neocon is a figment of a paranoid liberal democrats imagination.

That is the difference.

I am a conservative and I have been very vocal on many Q&A about my repudiation of George W.Bush and his cabinet of neoconservative ideologues. For anyone who truly wishes to know the difference, and it is an immense one,I can recommend you to google Chronicles,a conservative journal edited by the brilliant pundit,Tom Fleming (AKA the scourge of neocons).
