Because the Democrat controlled congress is even less successful than Democrats want to believe the Iraq war is.

Republicans are going to have a negative opinion of a democratic congress no matter what. But a lot of democrats are not happy with the democratic congress because of the lack of progress they have made on getting us out of Iraq. So that brings down the numbers.

They were elected because the voters threw out the big government big spending Republicans. They thought they had a mandate.

Because Republicans disapprove of Congress being controlled by the Democrats.

Many Democrats are pissed at Congress for not getting us out of the war and investigating the causes for the war.

I believe it has to do with progress and benchmarks. We are still waiting for the Democrats to step up so we can step down. Could be a very long battle.

Because in order to win Congress they promise and promise and then when they won, nothing has happened. All promises were forgotten because of their incompetent.
