In fact It is quite possible I am having a conversation with an articulate pine cone. However the broken chains on the tarmac sing a sorry tune.

This question seems to raise several philosophical questions.
One, was I even there in the first place?
Two, am I ever anywhere at all?
It could be that my existence is merely perceived by you, or your existence merely perceived by me, in which case I'm asking myself the question, and are therefore unsure of my own identity.
