I'm not sure it is actually required, but it seems pretty much what we get. It is possible (and I have a favorite) that a man could decide to run not because he thinks he's great, but because enough other people insist he would do the job well.
Well, I did say "man," didn't I? I think the one female running does indeed have a terribly inflated ego.

No. It is the chance to lead the free world, you personally actually have the power to have an impact on the whole world. I think it would be awesome.
Can you imagine having a hand in shaping the future of this country? No ego thing about it. It isn't something to brag about, but it is something to be extremely proud of.
