Wow...a difficult one, but not impossible. First, she is blessed to have a friend like you who cares.
As her friend, you need to get her alone to talk to her. I picked a public place with my friend, that way she was less apt to throw a fit at me and walk away (later, after she'd gotten "clean", she told me it was a dirty trick - with a smile on her face).
Before you even mention her using, tell her what her friendship has meant to you. Reminisce over your lives together and her positive effect your life. She needs to know she has meaning, purpose, that someone cares...she's not alone. Let her know you want nothing to end your friendship. From here it's a small (but important) step into how you're concerned her drug use will end her life and subsequently your friendship. How you can't stand seeing her hurting herself, you care too much. Ask her what she wants to do about her drug problem.
At this point it's really up to her.
Make sure you have information for her regarding a few different drug programs in your area. If she is limited monetarily, check with your county or state health services.
She may turn you off or down. Expect it and don't give-up on her if she does. If she rejects you, you'll just need to step-up to intervention with her family and other friends. I'm going to try at attach some intervention information for you.

Good Luck, and I will pray for both you and your friend.

You may not be able to stop her. There are some people that just do not think about the consequences of their actions. You may even have to avoid her and take away your friendship if you find it only enables her to continue. Whether or not you should tell someone in authority is strictly your call. I will not pretend that that is easy or a simple choice.
But if you love her you may have to do exactly that. She will really hate you for doing it. But in the long run, you may be saving her life.

Drugs are a very powerful addiction and there probably is not anything you can say or do by yourself to get her to stop. You need to get more people involved like her parents and other people that love her, and she needs to have professional help.

Tell her how concerned you are about it. If she is old enough to check herself into rehab offer to go with her (i.e. take her there). If she is still with her parents, tell her she needs to talk to them. Offer to be with her when she does (so she feels she has someone on her side in the discussion). If she refuses to talk to her parents talk to them on your own. Hopefully she'll go with you, but if not you need to get her help and this is the best way, even if she may resent you for it in the short term.

this is what is called tough love, tell her/him that you.... won't.... not ....can't.... be freinds with a druggie....you can't tell her to stop, this is like a push to keep on ,suggest that she knows what the outcome will be..absolutely nobody ever wins in using, if your Parents are the support line for you tell them , if not tell her parents. ....Just do it...... hers or yours Honey you can't stop her and it's not your fault . Good luck and be smart and brave ...you could be saving her life
