Floating, but please, get the tile up before you put in any new flooring. There are many reasons for this. Since you are putting this over tile, is this in a kitchen or bath? If so do yourself a favor and DON'T put laminate flooring in these areas.......you will regret it it in a couple of years. Laminate flooring is essentially highly compressed paper on a wood substrate, and does not hold up well to moisture despite what the manufacturers claim. Besides, every person that I know that have put laminate flooring down have regretted it in short order. Why, also contrary to manufacturers claims, laminate floors scratch easily.

Remove the tile; or install a new subfloor and then attempt laminate

Theres not many glue-downs left any more. Their pretty much all floating now.

def. not gluedown. they start to come up after a few years
