While I think I know what you're getting at, Bill Clinton has not lived in the White House longer than any American in history. Why don't you just ask the question you really want to ask, which is something about Hillary getting elected president? She would even have to get re-elected president before Bill approaches the milestone you reference. (FDR served three full terms and part of a fourth one before he died in office.)

But, in answer to your question(s): it's not about electing Bill Clinton "First Gentleman," but whether to elect Hillary president. She's the issue, not him.

Carlos70..., that book is total bunk. Presidents often keep their office furniture upon leaving office. Also, they grant pardons and clemency to people that would be politically inconvenient to pardon while facing re-election. It's not a Clinton or even a Democratic thing, presidents on both sides have done it.

Well... First off Franklin D Roosevelt has lived in the whitehouse longer than anyone else. He served 3 terms.

Second, Hillary hasn't been elected yet, and if she is, who is to say she'll get elected twice? Have you ever heard the saying don't put the carriage before the horse?

If Hillary is elected they will probably take the whole house back to New York or Arkansas or wherever the hell they live.

Someone had to take the top prize.

I think it's an irrelevant title.
