I though women were supposed to be kind, gentle, and motherly. But in this country, it seems to be not the case with a lot of women. Does this have anything to do with the high divorce rate?

HELLLLLLL, no. Us women are just more sutle about it- eg, we backstab instead of do what guys do, which is fight it out. i think that the divorce rate is because of "quick fixes" and impulse marrages. but that just me

It's not to do with being nice or not nice .
In a modern society women has equal opportunity and there's no need to bow down to men . Unlike some primitive society or culture where men don't treat women with respect .
Your mum is a woman and I'm sure she's kind,gentle and motherly .
High divorce rate reflects a society deteriorating in moral conduct and people don't take commitment seriously letting down spouses and children . If there's a divorce , the fault is on both sides not just the women .

Where are you from anyway? In western countries today, women have to compete for jobs in a man's world and it is impossible to have the kind of personality you describe and survive in this world. I don't know if that effects the divorce rate but men have to change too for things to be different.

On the whole,yes.If we look around and see,we shall find that men have created more problems than women,in almost all fields of human endeavors.Take a family with ,say,two boys and two girls and the parents shall tell you straight away the daily mess created by the boys.The process continues and men go about doing what they did as boys.(Note:-it's also mostly the men who sort out such problems finally,but that's a different story).

If men are so much 'nicer' than women then please explain to me why the nation's prisons and jails are full to bursting with young men? I think you had better address the problems in your own neighbourhood before you go projecting onto anyone else.

Welcome to the world of women. I have met some nasty guys but no one of them have come even close of the viciousness and backstabbing that some girls do. It's because girls are more verbal and can hurt you that much deeper...
