When a man is out of work, he tends to get very depressed and feel as though he's worthless. Just do everything you can to encourage him and maybe he'll have more of a drive to get out there and make something happen.

Encourage him and lift him up. Nagging doesnt work. The worst thing you can do is bring him down and make him feel lower than he already feels. Let him know you believe in him and tell him how talented he is and watch what happens. It helps when you're honest about it too. Read the book "Love and Respect"

He might have a degree and talents, but girl...he is lazy. How do you get someone to work hard when he really does not want to? Dont know

make take an appointment to his doctor or psy but rush its urgent. as soon you got the app, you will both feel better.....good luck
