Well i have a friend who is a solo dad and he asks me out all the time and i say no every time, its really starting to p*ss me off as i dont like him that way and i have told him that many many times...why wont he get it!! so i have stopped saying to him yup come over for a coffee cause he always texts me after seeing me at school just to tell me that i look good, so my solution now is wave politely then keep of walking lol, it may sound mean but i have told him i am not interested in him, what else can i do! so thats my reaction anyway!!! :)

I'd be flattered, tell them I'm already spoken for, but I would give them a hug and kiss on the cheek.
