do braces really make you look THAT bad...
im almost 15 and getting them in a month and im not really dreading getting them because i definetely need them.
only about 15 people in my grade still have braces...just wondering if people think differently of you if you have braces from ages 15-17
and what color would be best for me: i have long, dark brown hair and green eyes.

braces arent as bad as people claim them to be.
i had braces for 5 years and over the time i got so used to them, it was a shock when they came off lol.
but hopefully you wont need them for THAT long.
people wont care if you have braces or not, i know people in their 20s who have braces! better to get it over and done with now before you get in your later teens.
colour wise... its nice to match with the eyes.

I know exactly how you feel, i'm in the same boat.
It's better to have them now than when you're in your 20s or whatever. Plus you most likely get them for free now.
Plus, a lot of people will have already had braces in your year so can sympathise with you, and it's better to have them after other people than before other people, because everyone in your year will be used to seeing people with braces and it's not a new thing.

They dont make you look that bad. Whem I got mine people said I looked better and I thought I lloked better too. Everyone makes them seem like something so dramatic, but almost everyone gets them in their lifetime so its no big deal. I dreaded mine before I got them and now I love them. If you hate them enough you could get invialigns. As for the color: ur favorites, school colors, team colors, etc. Whatever you want will look fine

I think you worry too much. Why you care too much for appearance? There are more important things that makes a girl good looking. It looks like you need to improve your self-esteem.

the point is your teeth will be straight dont worry about other people and i dont think they look bad at all im not sure a bout the color

well if your teeth look mangled now, its going to fix them, its not like your going to not get them because they make you look bad, i mean your teeth are bad enough to start, just get them, and wear all the extra stuff he says and if your lucky you might get them off early
