I do for now. I started smoking out of boredom while evacuating Florida During Hurricane Fancis. Or maybe it was Jeanne... Which ever.. My cousin was picking up cigarettes for everyone and figure I smoked because my brother did. I smoked them for something to do during the 13 hour stand still trip up I95. And when I got back I discovered being a waitress and a smoker I was allowed a smoke break every 2 hours where if I was not smoking I could not have a break, and believe me a 13 hour straight shift with no break will make you want the 10 minutes of menthol. Haha. I quit when I got pregnant with my youngest son (I never EVER smoke in my house anyhow. Or anywhere around my kids.) And I started again for seemingly no reason at all.I stopped when we got our Pit Bull Puppy, for finacial reasons. But then we started doing a bit better and I broke my foot, So I started again out of boredom. And excuse to get outside. Now my husband and I have just quit drinking. Not that we were drunks. But whatever. And next year we plan to stop smoking. Cheers to good health.

If you dont smoke I would recommend not ever starting. It really is THAT hard to stop.

I don't smoke because my Grandad died of lung cancer from smoking and I know it would break her heart if I picked up the habit.

Plus, cigarettes are expensive and smokers end up having to be banished to some far corner, exposed to the elements, which is fine when it's 78 degrees, but when it's snowing and as cold as the artic? No way.

I smoked for many years, I quit 7 years ago because I wanted to live to see my grandchildren graduate from high school.

I have asthma, I know someone who started smoking at it changed them dramatically (physically and emotionally..), it's so heartbreaking and disgusting, my grandfather died from smoking, and my dad used to smoke and screwed up his lungs from it. Is that enough of a reason?

I don't smoke because I'm only 24 and not in a hurry to have my skin wrinkle up on me. I love myself too much.

I smoke the occasional cigar. Good ones, not Black & Mild or Swisher. Why? Because I believe in balance. You can't really live without the occasional taste of death. It's our excessive lifestyles that ruin our lives... that's why I don't smoke cigarettes.

I was an athlete when I was young, and one day I kissed a girl who had been smoking, that made me swear off.
