I have written many songs and they are pretty good. But, usually when I'm writing a song, I run out of words that rhyme. Does a song have to have rhyming phrases in it? Also, give me a list of 10 hit songs that have little or no rhymes in them.

Songs often don't rhyme. Modern Rap is extremely rhyme heavy, but rock in general often doesn't rhyme. For example, Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin has few rhymes (OK, soon/tune & dawn/long, but not many others), ending words of successive lines for example:
sure/gold/heaven
knows/closed/for
soon/tune/reason
dawn/long/laughter
hedgerow/now/queen
by/run/on

I don't listen to recent stuff much, so no modern examples for you.

This is how I more commonly write songs. I arise with a hook, melody or riff in my head and almost always hum it for an afternoon or so. Then I play it acoustic. This could take five mins, it could take per week. When I'm convinced with that, I placed lyrics to it. My lyrics are most likely approximately matters occurring in my existence or my pal's lives. Once the music and phrases are situated, I flip to my trusy electrical and make the last changes. Once all that's over, I'll play it for different musicians and check out to place in lead (I play rhythm guitar) bass and drums. MQ: Actually, guitar comes lovely normal to me, lyrics are what I battle with essentially the most. It's effortless to cover at the back of a guitar, it's kind of intimidating often to allow your voice be heard. MQ2: My favourite songwriter is honestly Jimmy Buffett despite the fact that I quite often keep on with punk rock, ska, and rockabilly. The guy is a musical genious. MQ3: Backstreet Girl by means of Social D

No it doesn't have to have rhyming phrases, but mostly children songs have rhyming phrases. What kinds of music do you make?
