Hello, all. First post here - hope this works.

I'm doing double-sided printing with a desktop color laser printer. After printing, I want to take each sheet and coat it on both sides with a glossy coating, like Hahnemule or PremierArt PrintShield. I need the final product to look glossier and feel smoother, like a page from a magazine.

I can't find any desktop machines for that, though. Everything out there is huge and aimed at mass printing shops - and costs $300k.

I'll buy a spray can and try that, but seems like it would be better, faster, and cheaper if I could find some kind of sheetfed coating machine.

Anyone ever seen such a thing? Any other advice to offer?

Thanks,
Barry

Do go for that

If you need a glossy look a hand held solution will just not cut it. The only solution is to have a professional printer do it for you. It may surprise you but it can be done relatively cheap. (specially if you keep the price of the machine in mind).
