No it wasn't! His true colors are showing.
He was badgered about it quite a bit, and he choked big time.
I hate to sound like I’m prejudiced, but the reason I won’t vote for Mitt is because he is Mormon. Unlike many conservative Christians, it won’t be because I don’t think he believes in Christ, but because I have a deep mistrust when it comes to political matters and the Salt Lake organization.
To Mitt: Good Luck. You’ll need it. Why not start by assuring people that you’re not under the thumb of the prophet?

It looks as if the Media and some Politicians didn't really leave him much of a choice.
Personally, I don't care if he's Mormon. I'm an American citizen and so I have lived among Mormons all my life.
I've never known them to be any more dangerous or non-lethal than any of the other common religions in the U.S.
-So, yes I suppose it was a good idea.
At least the very cautious, sensitive, and concerned News Media should have a sense of relief by now. :D

Speaking about Religion almost always leads to confusion!
We should definately leave it to the Preachers or only for healthy discussions where people are not likely to be unduly offended or disturbed...
Mitt Romney obviously has the courage of his convictions to to speak his mind. If people can speak loudly about things that matter to them, and if Religion matters to him, i don't see what the problem is. As long as nothing is imposed on an unwilling audience, discussion is always healthy!
God bless us everyone!

I don't care about Mitt or any of the others religions. All I want is a fresh face, good values, and to get us out of this war. Amongst other things...to long to list.

Yes...Those who are for him are proud he's not a sneaky faker(see atheist) and he is sincere and honest with this issue. And those against him will use it anyway it helps them. Face it, religion is not the issue it once was based on the polarity of all factions of civilization it isn't really a plus or minus.Personally I hope whomever wins this beauty contest has hair where it is needed and uses the powers given them by America...to better America.

Everybody know that he is a Mormon, there's nothing new about that. The point I wont be able to understand is why people care so much about it. If he gets elected, he will have to rule the way it's already established, not according to his personal beliefs. But, of course, there's always the ones that will try to make believe that his personal beliefs will affect his presidency,...silly ah!!

I think it was fine that he spoke about his faith. It's part of who he is therefore it plays a part in his decision making whether personal or private.
