The face of christmas has been hijacked by faceless, money grabbing companies. Christmas should be a time of sharing and being thankfull not how much you spend. By returning Santa to his traditional colours we can start to reclaim this magical time and focus on it's true meaning.... Please see poll on my 360 page...

Santa was always depitcted wearing green untill the 1880's but coke made him a household icon and promoted the red/white in 1930's, I do know my facts..Thank you..I was more intrested in what others think about the whole festive time, it was not a personally attack on anyone...chill out don't take it so seriously

It wasn't Coca Cola that did it, it was the artist who illustrated the Night Before Christmas in the l800's. Coke just followed with tradition.

santas red suit has become tradition. just because you change the colour of his suit it wont 'reclaim the magic'
for those who dont beleive in santa the colour of his suit dosent make a blind bit of difference and for those who do, children - they know and love santa in red, as do i.

I know what your saying but i only know santa for wearing red and white. i think it would be a nightmare changing it back and to be honest, christmas is that commercialised anyway, santa will always be wearing red. nothing can be done. I prefer santa wearing red anyway.

Red is the traditional colour! As well as green and blue, coke had nothing to do with it, as any fan of QI will tell you

He was depicted in red 60 years prior to the Coca-Cola campaigns. Do your research before spreading misinformation?
