it depends on your budget.
i'm building my own PC and i'm getting the ATI 3870, because it supports directX 10.1 (as you've said) and it's DDR4. but there is a type of 3870 which is for PCI E 2.0 and the motherboard i'm getting has PCI E 2.0 so i'll run faster. also my mother supports crossfire, so i'm going to get 2 of these graphics cards and cross fire them, but not now, i don't have much money and i'm building my PC. also i've been told it's better to wait till the January sale as the prices will drop for some reasones. one of these reaosnes is because new technology will come out.

i hope i helped

AMD mobo's have both SLI and Crossfire model choices.
Intel mobo's have both SLI and Crossfire model choices.

The 8800GT will out perform all of the other cards you have listed.

ALL OF THE CARDS YOU HAVE LISTED SUPPORT DX10.

I don't know anything about a sound card on any video card. Must be something I haven't seen yet.....but I would like to see one.

They are about equal in performance vs price, the ATI has the crossfire option, the 8800GT is low power usage, but either one is a good choice.

Nvidia Tesla C870 with SLi (shove in 2) is the terrific combination on the marketplace. customary makes use of PCI-e x16 if your motherboard isn't sli like minded. prepare for cooling + potential wastage, i recommend utilization. its have been given a million.5gigs of memory consistent with module besides

It depends what processor you have;
if you an Intel processor you would be better off getting the Nvidia,
but if you have an AMD processor you should get the ATI
