Someone mentioned it in another question, and it was a good point. If you go to the middle of this page, http://nospankingzone.org/_wsn/page2.html, it shows a high school girl's bruised naked buttocks. Isn't it illegal to post this picture on that website?

Okay. Since she's a high school girl I'm assuming she is underage, which would make the picture illegal IF it was posted for sexual reasons. This picture was not put up with sexual intent or for sexual purposes, so doesn't count as underage pornography.

And just because you can find everything on the internet doesn't mean it's all legal, people, so just assuming it's okay b/c you can find it isn't the safest bet in the world. It's like that diet pill company that says "we couldn't say it on television if it wasn't true". Yes, they can.

Unfortunately, there is something missing from your marriage. If there is no intimacy, I wonder if there is or was any love. He doesn't see the big deal therefore he has no clue what his role as a husband is. The two of you need to salvage what you have left if you choose to. You shouldn't be leaving for weekends after being married for less than two years...and he definitely shouldn't be 'bachelorizing' his computer. You two need some deep conversations as soon and as often as possible. Just lay everything on the table...thoughts, ideas, visions, confessions, everything. You need to become best friends all over again. And pray for your marriage. Things CAN get better.

If it isn't illegal it should be, because she is under 18! That qualifies as child pornography! I hope whoever posted that picture, and the people who are behind "nospankingzone" go to prison. But you should probably delete this question, otherwise pedophiles will be able to get to that picture through your link. You should report that website to the police for having child pornography.

Richard: Good point that it might be an adult posing as a high school student. I didn't think of that.

Well, first of all I have no idea if the site is based in the US, so it may or may not be regulated by our laws.

Secondly, on that page and in that context, that is not an illegal form because of the way it is being used. However, if you were to download that picture and store it on your hard drive, it could very easily be considered child pornography.

It is a very gray area that the site is on, they would certainly have a defense against it in a court of law, but there also could be a case made against it.

That is of course assuming they have permission from someone of age of consent to display the picture in the first place.

In addition to the other answers, please note that you can't believe everything you read on the Internet, either.

Yes, the web site "says" that she's a high school student, and it "says" that the bruises result from a paddling at school, but are they telling the truth?

Note that it's an activists site, dedicated to stopping corporal punishment. We have no way to know that this isn't the butt of a 21 year old porn actress who just shot an S&M movie.

I haven't looked at the website but it seems that these days anything can be shown or said unless its an innocent mistake on Q& A and then you get points deducted . its a wonder you haven't lost points for the word buttocks

Well it isnt done in a pornographic manner which I guess is the standard. From what I understand you can show nude kids as long as it isnt sexual- odd I know but whatever

This one seems to have a nice body though- must be 18 by now???

In the context of the webpage, no, it is not illegal. If someone were to post a copy of it on a webpage that has nothing to do with it's original purpose, it could be illegal(again, it depends on the context.)

Even tho I appreciate the fact that you are very naive, I hate to break the news to you, but do you think that is actually the most pornographic picture on the net? That looks like Betty Crocker compared to some of the stuff.

If it isn't it should be, that's a cause of humiliation, you would think that it would be considered inappropriate for the public viewing.
