no as it would then not be that "innovative" plus that is partially there for more top rope moves

TNA is awesome,
I like the six sided TNA ring it makes them look more like UFC, which is huge threat to the professional wrestling industry.
The main thing TNA needs to improve with the show is the entrances, at the end of the 90's when the Rock entered the arena it was exciting. TNA doesn't really sell the entrances that well which means you don't get the rush until 5 minutes into the match. They need to get better music too, the best entrance themes are Christian Cage's and Abyss's.
Outside the ring is where TNA gets into serious problems. Their marketing is terrible. I only found out about TNA this summer and when I speak to my friends (the ones that watch wrestling) about it, they haven't heard of it.
They need to use Xplosion as a show to promote TNA i.e. get it onto channels that everyone who has a TV can watch. (kinda like what WWE used to do with Heat in the UK)
And what is up with shop TNA? The main store is good but getting items shipped over doubles the cost and the Euro store doesn't have a descent selection.

No that 6-sided ring was created specifically by Jeff Jarrett & Dixie Carter as part of the innovations on TNA that included the concept matches like ElevationX, Lockdown etc. They created new divisions within the roster like the X Division. The unique ring was another selling point in its All-action alternative to WWE.
The Impact Zone is quite small to arenas used by WWE & the fans get real close up to the ring. That maks the TNA ring look smaller by comparison.
I've visited cousins in Florida & have been at several TNA house shows. That ring is bigger than it looks & just as big as WWE's ring tbh.

I dont think it would be 10x better. In my opionion I dont like the ring but changing it wouldnt make TNA better. Ring is not as important as the wrestlers and storylines. I do believe that TNA would be better (not 10X maybe 5X) if they fought in Arenas. The small studio they have really hurts the atmosphere of the matches. The reaction of 500 people in a small room is not the same as a sold out arena. It also doesnt help them that the actual TNA fans dont get to attend televised events. This hurts them more than their six sided ring.

I like the fact that they have a different ring than the WWE. They have a bit different product with more in ring action and the different ring. TNA is gradually getting more like the WWE and I don't want that. So I say keep the ring the way it is now and keep doing other things different.

They don't need a different ring, they need people who actually know how to write storylines and book matches, instead of the abysmal writing team they have nowadays.
Besides, the ring shape makes them distinctive from WWE, and having a different look and feel than their competition can only help TNA.

Its a curse and a blessing at the same time.
Its good because it sets them apart from other promotions but its bad because I don't feel the wrestlers have adequate ringspace in which to work.

It's not innovative at all, they stole the ring shape from Mexico.
