The clubhouse in my RV park. We should have the meal catered so no one is stuck with the cooking. We'll have the entire menu from the best restaurant in town. Everyone will find something they like. We could play Trivia Pursuit.

If I could get a bunch of 'Grey Wolves' together, they would need be: healthy, light hearted, reasonably educated, adventurous, within limitations and 'sticky beaked' (like me) then where would I take them? a trip to these places in this order

China, The Great Wall, Beijing and its environs.

Thailand, Pataya, to see what the REAL damage was after the Tsunami.

Thailand, Chiang Mai, the north and its people are sooo different.

India, to see what squalor really is.

Egypt, to gaze on living history

Greece, the people are fabulous and the country is better

Italy, the home of true cooking and REAL food.

France, (avoiding Paris) for scenery, and the French people, if you try to speak their language are so friendly and warm

England, of course, what other country is so dichotomous.

Scotland the home of my forebears, the land of Castles and Uisga Beatha (Whisky to you)

then to Paradise, the only true relaxed, friendly, warm, laid back, open minded, cultured (?) and varied blending of cultures, religions, races and ethnics .. the one true semblance of Earth as a planet .. the ONLY place to bring an Alien (from another planet)

AUSTRALIA

How about a 5 day cruise down around the Yucatan on a nice ship. Let them provide the food and Mr. Ed will have several bars to meet us all in.

Some nice tropical island, with clear aqua colored water. white sand beaches. Swaying palm trees. It would be in the mid 80's not too hot, not cold.
Of course it has to have a bar. Duh!
Lots of tropical fruit, desserts and BBQ everything. hotdogs, hamburgers, ribs, chicken, pork loin, roast beef
A little Calypso or Reggae music in the background. and a Full Moon. Thatch roofed cottages right on the beach to stay in.

Goody, can I come too? I'm so easy to please we could go anywhere. As far as the menu, I was going to say a pot luck but there are so many that want such different things it had better be catered! I will go along with what everyone else has ordered up as it sounds lovely!
And, an open bar to boot!
What a grand idea!

Sorry! Going to be boring and say Butlins at Bognor. Seafood would be on the menu and I would join Mr. Ed in the bar, along with the rest of you! Can't wait.

Some where warm would be good, I like Southern Comforts idea of a tropical island, maybe it could be abandon or uninhabited. Nice comfort food on the menu, an open bar is good (could there please be Malibu or Kahlua) oh and a nice big choclate fountain with fresh fruit>

I vote for a cruise. Let them provide the food, entertainment and drinks. They do such a good job. There is something for everybody. I think it would be really cool if we had the ship all to ourselves too. Well, I may be old, but I can still dream! Yippee or should I say Yahoo!

A cruise would be fun and we could pick up more friends at each port. If that's not possible I would suggest someplace warm. It would be worth traveling to the destination. I would really enjoy seafood. Of course a few gin martinis and beer for the hubby.
