Just because someone is president doesn't mean we must mindlessly support him. That is what they do in a dictatorship.
Here is what great American President Theodore Roosevelt had to say about this matter:
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."

Well,the government is made to serve the people. If the government does not fit the needs of the poeple, the people have a right to overthrow it and form a new one, according to the words of the constitution.So,rather than the people support and follow the ideas of the president, the president should support and follow the ideas of the people.

You see as a governed, It is not only my right to not support a person or government who I view as destructive to my rights and the constitution, but it is my obligation as a citizen of the United States of America to stand up and fight for a new government.
I often see the so called Conservatives saying how we have to support the President because if we are not with him we are against America.....I wonder if they were a German citizen in the 1940's if they would have had the same position....you see that is how Hitler came to power, and we know the result of that.

False: I cant support the murderer of our Nations soldiers for no reason. I cant support someone who wants to cut budgeting for protection of America soil (Homeland security), while asking for money to protect the soil of another (Iraq)
