Go to http://www.vixy.net/ to download the video in an AVI format. Then you need to convert it to a WMV format so PowerPoint can read it. Prism Video Converter is a great free software that will convert AVI to WMV.

hello Anne Marie Smith,

Youtube uses a FLV file format that cannot be used by powerpoint at all.

Just follow these steps, and you'll be able to show all your good videos on powerpoint presentation:

1- download the youtube video with "zillatube". Get the program from http://www.zillatube.com. This program helps to download and convert those videos the fastest way possible. Other methods may be slow.

2- using zillatube, convert it into mpg video format.

3- final step, a simple step, just insert(using the file menu above the powerpoint program) the mpg video into power point.

Just 3 simple steps, and you can present your powerpoint with videos without online at all.

all the best to your presentation.

Hi,

You can't. By default YouTube does not allow you to download videos.

You will need a tool to let you do this. Fortunately there are free ones. Click the sources below.
