Okay, how about this... what if the gift you're regifting was given to you by your mom, but your mom was the one that said to give that to the other person? That other person being someone you don't really care about shopping for because you don't like them. In my case, that is my sister.

Just a bit.

It's kinda rude in a way. I'd rather return it to the store than risk getting caught regifting. Some people, like myself, have amazing memories for that sort of thing.

you're able to in all possibility post the item on a freecycle sight being optimistic to indicate out the scent . somebody will take it who does not recommendations the venture and you would be rid of the offense AND performed a powerful deed. extra importantly, you're able to decide on if the friendship is extra substantial than the offense you experience. issues are basically issues. friendships are plenty extra useful than any present...or regift, for that remember.

I wouldn't cuss someone out if they did that to me but I would be a little hurt that they felt I didn't deserve an original and unique gift that was shopped for exclusively for me.

I think it's not a good idea. It's tacky and shows a lack of consideration and effort. I knew someone who did this and I wouldn't except a gift like that from her.

Nothing wrong with it unless you get caught. Tip: take the old gift tag out before re-wrapping. lol

It might be kinda wrong but I do it every year! Otherwise you end up with 15 bottles of lotion, bubble bath, or spray, 5 Christmas sweaters, 10 fruitcakes....

It's only all right if you give the same crappy gift you got to the person that gave it to you.

I am not into it, unless I know someone really wants that thing I don't... but just make sure you don't give it back to the people who gave it to you.
