Duane Allman was the greatest guitar player who ever lived. Gregg Allman in his prime may have been the greatest white blues singer of all time. Just listen to "Live at Fillmore East" and that should settle the debate for you.

Allmans because Skynard was not that great of a band, they had alot of help from a plane if you know what I mean.

DARN--what a hard choice---I grew up with the Allmans --so they will be #1
