The Who, they actually came out with an album I'd call a masterpiece in "Quadrophenia". "The Who Sell Out", "Tommy", and "Who's Next" are all great albums too, and diverse in their scope. Also while The Who had some weak 80's stuff, they didn't have as much crap as the Stones had, nor was it nearly as bad. The Stones are perhaps the definitive RnR band, and have a couple great albums (especially "Beggar's Banquet" and "Let It Bleed"), and were more eclectic than many seem to think, but I prefer the dynamic, ambitious Rock of The Who. Maybe one could explain a key difference between the two bands like so; The Who were a band that were always trying to "make a point" with their music, while The Stones were more... purely descriptive. Their lyrics and attitude reflected a certain lifestyle and mindset without passing judgement on it, whereas The Who were all about taking a step back from it (the whole mod thing in their case), and figuring it out. The Stones never had a reflective conceptual work like "Quadrophenia", that was never their style, but it is The Who's style (even in their earlier stuff this attitude was becoming apparent, and fully fledged as early as "A Quick One"), and my style as well.

I'll never forget the first time I got one. My supervisor called me into his office. I thought, "Oh, Lord. I'm in trouble."

When I got to his office, he and the department head were in there. I thought, "Oh, Lord. I'm fired."

Instead they handed me a check. I was speechless, which occurs at roughly the same frequency of a lunar eclipse.

You kids have fun. Call me if you need a ride.

Ha!

Where's your stoner kit?

Breath stuff (gum, bianca, whatever...) perfume if you're a girl, cologne if you're a guy, visine or whatever, and a clear knowledge that there are people in the office with the noses of a bloodhound...

Be prepared...

Were you laughing so hard when you left the office?

That's classic. I miss that about lunchbreaks.

Yes! Beer me! I'll get the next round.
