If you're using a Cold War Era Soviet Missile Command screen for a monitor, then I'd recommend about 1 cubic meter of concrete to block all the gamma rays. Modern screens emit no unnatural radiation.

You're worried about getting a zit from your computer screen?? You're kidding right?? Worry more about your eyesight from the screen. There are screen diffusers for your eyes and Proactive for your zits.
