I think that Washington Nationals should host the All-Star Game because the baseball team had returned to the nation capital for first time in 30 years since the Senators moved to Minnesota to became the Twins.

What is your opinion that which city could host the All-Star Game.

The selection of the all-star site is accomplished years in advance. Every team will have an opportunity to host the game, including the Nationals.

I believe the All-Star game is at Yankee Stadium this year. I like how it goes to different stadiums each year. However, I don't like how it's only going to the new built stadiums. Why can't Oakland, or Minnesota, or Kansas City have an all star game. Fans in those cities want to be able to participate in going to the All Star game and Home Run Derby too. I mean isn't baseball about the fans? I understand there is more money in it for MLB if the game is at a newer stadium but the fans would like an oppurtunity to see the best in the game play as well. I think it should be on a set rotation. 30 years 30 different ballparks, rotation AL and NL each year.

Well unfortunately for you, and fortunately for those who appreciate where it's being played this year, it's being played in one of the three remaining historical ballparks. In case you didn't realize it (and I'm not being rude), this is the last year for Yankee Stadium and the AS Committee fittingly chose the Stadium for the game in order to honor its storied past.

Your point is valid in your thinking, but baseball history has outweighed public opinion on a less significant reason for the venue to be in D.C..

I think it should be in a recently ravage area like San Diego, L.A, Atlanta, or New Orleans. I know New Orleans doesn't have a pro team but I am sure they have a stadium there. If not, hop up to Baton Rouge, I am sure the LSU stadium could be used.

Seeing that MLB rips off most small market teams by installing a salary cap - they should go through Tampa, KC, Cincinnati, and Seattle, with a final stop in Minnesota.

I know the games are decided way in advance who will host. Hopefully it won't be too far down the road.

I think they should bring All-Star games to places in need of financial support, like Florida (Marlins) or Oakland.

I think that would be a good idea, but going to Yankee Stadium this year is not bad either. Yankee Stadium is a historic stadium that will soon be torn down, so i think it was right to choose them.
