"Smart" can apply to different applications.
And I'm sure you can prefer mansions - who can't?
I'll assume that you are thinking of green houses, or homes that are eco-friendly. Contact a Realtor in the area you are considering and ask about what green subdivisions or builders are working in this area. Since this is a relatively new niche market, there won't be much older construction that is green.
