As a rule, any gift that can actually make me laugh is a valuable gift. There reaches a time in life when we need nothing in the way of gifts...so a good gag gift is really appreciated...how often do we get things that actually make us happy for a moment...a good gag gift is great. Phil

Here`s a fun game to play after all the Xmas day festivities. Everyone brings a gag gift, usually priced 15/20 dollars, no names placed on gift, numbers are put in bag corresponding to the number of people present. Someone passes the bag, each person takes a number. Whoever gets #1 picks a gift first, then whoever has#2 can either take the gift from #1 or pick one from the table and so on, gifts are taken from others or picked from the remainder left. It is so much fun, i.e. someone put a gas gift card in a Victoria`s Secret bag which no man would choose from the table, thinking it was a thong or panties. Fun and many laughs as people take from others and many are stuck with inappropriate gifts. Fun with at least 15 people present. It`s a fun ending for a Xmas day. Try it.

I would love to get a joke gift cuz I love a good joke. Back when the song some beach came out I got a little figurine of a red bird on a piece of beach building a sand castle with a sun umbrella over his head. Cutest thing and it is still above my computer .

Yes i love them, I think there hilarious and funny..
The last one i got was a set.. It actually came from my niece and she has never done these things to me so i never expected it.. She gave me a mirror and brush set and it was very nice looking.. And im the kind of person that loves to brush their hair.. so i pick up the brush and start brushing my hair and she says take a look and see how pretty.. Well when i looked through the mirror it starts laughing at me.. no matter who looks through it.. it laughs.. so i started to laugh but then i saw my hair and it was tinted purple.. the brush puts this powder on it that shakes out a color (yep she had purple in it.. it comes out when the brissles are being pushed one way or the other..
It comes right out but i laughed so hard.. got rid of the stuff in the comb and now its like a regular one, love the mirror, its great for when guest come over.. they always come out of the bathroom laughing ...
One of my best joke gifts..
Deb :)

I cherish a lot of my "joke" gifts. I recieved a "end of the trail" belt buckle as a joke retirement gift. I use that as my trademark now. It really said how I felt. Did my thing, had fun, but now I just want to relax a little.

I love getting " gag gifts"! I have the best sense of humor in the world as does everyone in my family. We are forever doing this every Christmas. I've been racking my brain but can't think of a single thing right now. Isn't that pathetic?

Sometimes. The last one was a Santa Pig. It is blue and has a Santa hat. It walks and oinks Jingle Bells. When you grab its tail and pull it backwards or pick it up it squeels. I had more fun watching my 3 yr old grandaughter play with it than I ever would have on my own. This was part of a ''dirty Santa'' game so it was o.k.

Jean Nate Body Splash (not my favorite thing) that my sister gave to me in 1974. I gave it back to her as a joke gift a few years later for her birthday and we've been exchanging it back & forth in "unexpected ways" for over 30 years now. I like getting & receiving them.

I like getting joke gifts. The last one I got was a "Pet Fart". It was a little plastic jar that said pet fart on it. When you opened it there was a little card in the bottom that said "Oops, you let it out". I thought that was the greatest!

Yes. I enjoy humor. About twelve years ago one of my customers gave me a plastic back scratcher. It is bright green, has painted nails on the hand and some sort of noise maker in the handle. The best part? It works really well and I still use it.
