I bought some stuff from Home Depot but this did not work.
What would you recomm. I use to stop a leak in my gutters.
Its only on one join that it leaks and that is where I walk by and the rain hits me in the face.. so annoying. Please help.

Not wood or cast iron.
So plastic it is.
I tried some seal stuff at Home Depot
didn't help... where else do the sell this stuff.

What type of gutter are we talking about,Wood,Plastic,Cast iron.?

Sounds like a drip edge was not installed along with your roof. This should be installed before the shingles along the perimeter edge. It simply deflects the runoff into the trough from the very outside edge. It can be installed after the fact but it needs to go under the first strip of shingles. A lot of ladder climbing is involved and the existing nailing will possibly be in the way to tuck it underneath. The installers need to come back but if drip edge wasn't specified in contract you may have some difficulty.

I had the same problem. never could get it to seal.
I had vinyl gutters.
