The question you should ask yourself, do I have the right to s_it on my neighbor's yard? Your leaves is that sh_t. Put yourself in his shoes. How would you feel about it or would you do the same thing? Most likely you would. He doesn't have trees. So, chances are he does not have a leaf maker machine either. What is yours is yours. If each leaf say was a dollar bill (a money tree) would you still complain? I doubt it. Sure, go to the city and they may come out and see you have branches that extend over into his "air space" They definitely will cut them down and send you the BILL for city workers and their time there. and they are lousy at pruning branches, it is more of a HACK JOB. You should have recognized that your tree is making a mess of other peoples yards and should offer to clean it up "in a perfect world". That would be the "right thing" to do. As one responder wrote he may have allergies which is why no trees. My neighbor behind me is a Condo complex and every year my Mom who is in her 80's is putting out like 14 garbage bags of leaves from the maple tree that mainly overhangs over our garage. No shade benefit, no nothing. Just rots roof and plugs the gutters. We had a 5 foot high fence and they had no maintenance man for the condo yard. We had our house there first by 15 years. The garbage man had a weekly pickup of leaves every season that went on for a month. Then after a heavy snow a branch cracked so the tree was sick. Otherwise if the branch broke it would have smashed into the garage roof. Condo units would have to pay for damages. So out the tree came. Cost THEM a grand to get in a "faller" to remove the tree without damaging our garage or the condos. Kind of like pulling teeth. 5 ton truck with extension on it to hold a lineman. Took him and 3 helpers 6 hours to get that out. It was Condo responsibility and would have been our claim against their insurance company who would also up their rates because they were negligent in maintaining their property. So they chose the best route to take for themselves. sorry for the story but "stuff happens"

As long as my little one can join, I am so game! Sounds like what we did a few weeks ago. Now they all are covered with snow.

Leaf diving!

I think there is a Charlie Brown episode where they do this.

Watch for sneaky hidden ANVILS that always seem to hide beneath that pile.

COWABUNGA!
