Because Americans were united along with the rest of the world to get the attackers and numb nuts went after the oil in Iraq and STILL tries to play everyone for fools.

It might be because we were still in shock from 9-11 and because we had done so well in Afghanistan, that some of us were afraid to switch presidents. If President Bush had stayed out of Iraq and stayed after Ben Laden, most of us would not be on his case now. I didn't vote for Bush the second time and said if he did not find WMD's, he was going to take a lot of abuse. I do hope we win the battle in Iraq even if President Bush gets the credit. Our troups deserve the credit. Not Bush.

Support for Bush really wasn't all that bad post 9/11, right into the Iraq war. At that point the ship was sinking, and it really hit the point of no return at Katrina. The simple answer is he made mistakes and was cocky about it. He's human, he's allowed to make mistakes, but he deserves what he's gotten to some extent with the way he carries himself. It's tragic now because if we really needed him, 3/4 of the country wouldn't even listen.

After 9/11 we rallied for action. Action has been taken and it has proven to be the wrong path. President Bush and his cronies made poor judgment calls on issues of extreme importance.

The people of the United States of America put their faith in President Bush and he failed - end of story, no do-overs, good bye.

Because we were conned!
Bush used the emotional upheaval of 9-11 to push his one - and only - intended objective as President:
Attack Iraq and 'settle the score' with Saddam Hussein who ridiculed, criticized and humiliated George H.W. Bush for not 'finishing the job' during Desert Storm.
Cheney coveted all of OUR oil swimming underneath Iraq's sands.
And the giant U.S. military-industrial complex [which Eisenhower warned us about] needed to boost its sagging profits from too many years of peace.

So, Congress was lied to, the American people were hoodwinked, and our valiant U.S. soldiers were conned into believing there was honorable purpose in attacking another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States - all so that a handful of wealthy elitists, industrialists, oil barons and power brokers could become wealthier and more powerful.

675,000 Iraqis and 3,900 U.S. soldiers have given their lives for an unconstitutional, illegal, unjustifiable, immoral 'war', all to pacify a personal vendetta the Bush family ahd against Hussein, and to make a few people ungodly rich.

This is, by far, the most evil deception ever perpetrated upon the American people, who - by the way - will be paying off this multi-trillion-dollar debt for generations to come.

Certainly Satan has reserved a special oil-soaked, blood-stained corner of Hell for Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and all their war-mongering friends, along with:
* 535 members of the most arrogant, contemptible, wicked, incompetent, cowardly, corrupt Republican-led Congress in history that watched as Bush ran rip shod over our Constitution
-AND-
* 535 members of the most arrogant, contemptible, wicked, incompetent, cowardly, corrupt Democratic-led Congress in history that promised to end this vile 'war' if elected, and - to date - have done absolutely nothing to keep that promise. MAY GOD DAMN THEM ALL!! -RKO- 12/07/07

O, gee I wonder why? Lets see how many reason do you need? 4000 or so killed, how many lives ruined by being shot up, how many families destoryed, almost 2 trillion when all said and done. Should I continue about George's total screw up? I don't think they projected deaths but they did say the thing would be under 80 billion.

Because we have been for some reason brainwashed by our own media that Bush has made errors in judgement. In reality all he has done is protect America. Can you imagine how he would have looked if he didn't go after Sadam, who was KNOWN to be making weapons of mass destruction and was in partnership with Bin laden.

History will prove that George Bush was right.

Because of his reprehensible actions since then. 9/11 is not an excuse to toss out the Constitution and start invading countries on false pretenses.
