I used to have this problem as well.

How did I get rid of it? Practice, practice, practice.
You see, talking nasally is a habit that you have developed over the years. Since you've been talking like that for a very long time, its going to be very hard to undo the damage.

I took it down in steps:

1) Begin to practice talking to "someone across the room" when alone.
When you do this focus extremely hard on trying to make all the noise from your voice come from your throat, and not your nose.

2) Once you've done that for a little while, start using it in conversations with people you don't know (like the store clerk etc).
You do this so that the conversation has a well established beginning and end: you can really focus on using your throat voice and know that the convo isn't going to effect you.

3) Use it in real life!
Begin to remind yourself at random during conversations to check which voice your using. If you ever realize your not using your throat, start.

This is a deeply embedded habit of yours, it'll take some time to change, but the change will be worth it.
