We bombed the crap out of him, killed some of his family, and he straightened right out.
I personally prefer to live in peace, but the big hairy monster is always an option and some people only seem to learn the hard way.
I wish someone would explain to me how letting people attack us and/or threaten us is the right thing to do.

Bush Invented - kind of answered your own question - there isn't one person. That doesn't mean we should let ourselves be attacked.

Yeah, that was great! None of this waiting and cowtowing crap that we have now. Go in, get the job done, it's over, evil is conquered once again.

It didn't hurt that he saw just how easily we toppled Iraq either, when the US perceived them as being a threat.
All of a sudden, that nuclear weapons program he was running didn't look so attractive any more.
I still love how when Reagan bombed them, how the French embassy accidentally took a hit because our poor pilots were tired from having to fly around France.

Yep I undergo in suggestions while Libyan terrorist bombed a Marine evening club. i've got not got a project with Condi Rice speaking to Khadaffi.... what's ironic is that once Obama stated he might communicate over with our enemies all the republicans unhappy it replaced into appeasement. i think of that's a great concept to communicate to our enemies notably if we are able to stay away from conflict. Bombs do not constantly artwork.

That was brilliant on Reagan's part. Bomb the he!! out of Libya and Khadafi. Let them know that we would not take their crap, and they stopped their crap.
Bikini Bush...WE are not killing the Iraqis. We are killing a FEW insurgents. The INSURGENTS are killing the Iraqis. We are trying to protect them. You really need to get a clue of what is truly going on. As for Osama. He is not probably dead...HE IS DEAD! This is evidenced by the fact that the egomaniac did not show his face for over 5 years, just muffled recordings. And now that his face turned up...it wasn't his face. Saddam had better look alikes than that.
golfer...ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING???? I do not believe that you are trying to give Clinton credit for THAT ONE!!! GET A CLUE!

Oh yes I remember him. He threatened to come to the U.S. and kill us on our own streets. Which I thought was a great idea. Since most of us(yes including me) are highly armed. But that was then and this is now. And if you are talking about Iraq or Iran that makes it an apples/oranges issue. Oh and what edubya said.

What I want to know is... why was he only a Colonel? I mean, shouldn't he be like "I am the supreme ruler of Libya, I promote myself to General!" Who would stop him?
PS- I still haven't forgiven the Frogs for making us fly around their airspace on that mission.

I loaded the bombs that made his compound a parking lot and I had a good time when the A-6 intruders came back empty.

Who is the big hairy monster in the current war? Who is the person whose family we need to kill? Show me where he lives. Give me his name.
The problem is that the people in this country want someone - a FACE - to blame for what happened six years ago, and there ISN'T SOMEONE. Well, there is, but Bush isn't concerned about him. Saddam's dead and we're still killing Iraqis. Osama's alive and no one cares enough to find him.
And don't give me that "he's probably dead" stuff, because I won't believe it until I see the body. He killed 3,000 of my countrymen in ONE DAY. Trust me... PROBABLY isn't good enough.
So I ask again... tell me who the boogeyman is that we're supposed to be going after. Because right now, I just see us randomly killing people and hoping we hit a couple of terrorists in the process.
That policy sucks.

yea, and he was supposed to go to england but he told them he would only go if he could put a tent to live in on the front lawn of parliment, hes afraid of being inside buildings. Wonder why, could it be our bombing of his mansions.
Edit: it was France not England.
