It is a great cleaning product because it keeps a scrubbing power without being abrasive, so it won't harm any finishes. I've never heard of using it on your skin, but I have heard it is a nice water softner so you can add some to your bath water for a soak. Here's a great website: www.about.com In the search box, put baking soda and there is also a link for vinegar. You can learn all about the uses for these products and combining them for some different types of cleaning recipes. Enjoy!

There are many uses for baking soda. One use is as a skin softener. Try the links below if you want to find out more uses.

"Smooth skin - Use with water to create paste, apply to face, careful to avoid eyes and mouth, and leave on for 3 - 5 minutes, wash off. Your face will be noticeably softer." Source: http://www.gomestic.com/Homemaking/15-Uses-for-Baking-Soda.32410
