Cool question! I'd pick Jessica (Dragon Quest 8), Yuna (Final Fantasy 10), and Monica (Dark Cloud 2). Girl power! Jessica - great with the whip (hits multiple enemies) and support magic, Yuna - white mage and summoner, and Monica - good swords-woman and great with ranged offensive magic.
