If you stab someone with a knife below the waist in nj is it still consirded assault with a deadly weapon or does it not count because its below the waist?

A weapon becomes "deadly" when it has the means to cause serious injury or death!

It doesn't matter where the weapon is used upon a body!

It's assualt.
The weapon can still be "deadly".

You have committed assualt with a deadly weapon. Try not stabbing people for pete sake.
