see your doctor. He she will probably recommend hot, salty compresses - that is the 'folk' remedy for bruises and swelling (cold compresses for the first 48 hours). But check with your doctor about this, and make sure your eye is not damaged.
My other question: How did you get the black eyes? Was it the result of someone's violence? If so, get help from domestic violence authorities, including the police. Don't allow an abusive situation to continue. If it was from an accident, I apologize, but I can to make the point.

That sounds like quite a shiner. It shouldn't be swollen shut for more than 7 days but it'll be black and probably somewhat swollen for a while.

I hope you saw a doctor; given the severity of your accident, you might have fractures or cartilage damage, of which you're not even aware.
Put ice packs over your eyes, one at a time. That way, when one eye gets too cold or wet, you can shift the ice to the other eye while drying-off or letting the first one warm-up.
The closed eye should open with a week or so, assuming, of course, there is no other damage, swelling, etc.
Until they heal, to avoid unwanted inquiries, just tell people you've gone "Goth"! ;)

uhh - pls go to the doctor. Don't know what happened to you, but it sounds pretty bad.
Black eyes usually last a good week or two.
Try to put a cool compression on it to reduce the swelling. Not too cold or icy though... Take an aleve or other painkiller.

you should really see a doctor to make sure your eye doesnt have more injury than you think... your eyesight is at risk, you should be very concerned about that.
