ok this is abit complicated, my partne had a break down aand disapeared for a few weeks, hes back now and is signed of work with depression, and the health people involved thinks he will be of for a while, soon he is going to ssp which is only 72 pound a week, his wage was £1700 plus he had been doing over time, i dont work as we have a baby together. we cantr afford out rent or bills with just ssp

I'm so sorry to hear. And sorry that an idiot replied to your post first with no real help.

You are right that social services don't help much. As you have a baby, can you get those services, too?

Mothers in the US can do that. Also benefits for your baby like WIC, etc.

Can you work from home?

Perhaps open a little 'easy' business such as baby sitting, walking dogs, housekeeper, etc.

It's not great, but it would help with the bills.

I'd definitey go to your region's social services and see how they can help you.

With a baby, it would be hard to turn you down.
