Dude, books are a taste thing. Some people won't ever like reading. I've been trying to get my brother to read for 8 years and still no luck. You can try some of the suggestions and she may end up liking them, but it's a shot in the dark. Keep in mind though that it only takes one book to get someone hooked on reading. Try giving her a gift certificate to books-a-million or barnes and noble or somewhere. Libraries sometimes have sales that are good to go to and she can try to find something she likes.

First you must know her interest. What subjects she likes more while talking or discussing and watching films? Find it out first and choose a colourful book with beautiful wrapper with beautiful photo or art. Certain books have photos or arts for each chapter which generally kindles the interest of reading the subject. If she is interested in fairy tales then you may choose "Cinderella". You must tell her how authors explain the situations in the story and how movies of the same stories vary from books or novels. You must also kindle the feeling of art of writing.

the twilight books by potential of Stephanie Meyer are greater beneficial than 250 pages, yet i could strongly recommend them... even if if there could be slightly bit intercourse interior the final couple of books.... Elizabeth Honey is an incredible author, all of her books are great and shall be around the two hundred-4 hundred web site mark. 40 5 + 47Stella highway and each little thing That occurred (one e book) especially is nearly like a undercover agent e book-that is approximately babies who get new neighbours and that they look into greater into the neighbours and... do not want to harm it for you. Wild timber Dancing and Cybele's secret by potential of Juliet Marillier are outstanding!! looking Cassie loopy in all fairness thick, yet an hardship-free examine, and Feeling Sorry for Celia does have intercourse, yet is in the website variety. those books are the two extremely solid. by potential of Jacklyn Moriarty i could rather recommend the inkheart trilogy by potential of Cornelia Funke. there could be greater pages than you're after, yet at times that is solid to project your self! some books that I even have examine this 300 and sixty 5 days which probably fit your standards Guitar highway Rose by potential of Brigid Lowry; See How They Run; secrets and methods interior the hearth Parvana Voyager additionally, i've got not examine them, yet my pals have pronounced that the "pass ladies" sequence is solid. =] solid success ????

You could have her try a couple chapters of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. If she doesn't catch interest within three or four chapters, she won't like it, I don't think.
You could also have her try books by Sarah Dessen, who writes chick-lits. Or Meg Cabot.
That's all I can think of, really. You didn't specify with which genre she'd like. I think if she likes a certain type of movie, she'll like the same for books. That would be helpful.

I enjoyed the book "Wicked Lovely" by Melissa Marr.
She will have to try different genres' of books to find what keeps her interest. She my love suspense/mystery but hate sci/fi. she might like teen romance, but hate history & westerns. good luck
