i work so i can put food in the fridge for my mom and three sibs and i have no other motive for doing this what so ever my work includes dangerous stuff

I know I am not. Other people will disagree but it's only because their lives are dominated by selfishness and greed and they want to bring others down with them.
If I were selfish, my wife wouldn't have a new car, new bedroom and living room set, and our children wouldn't have all the things they have. I also wouldn't be helping the poor and homeless with children every year if I were selfish.

Yes. Everybody is. There is a selfish motive behind everything a person does. Even if you spend your entire life making people happy, then it's their happiness that brings you joy.

No, I don't. I allow my DIL and grandson to live with me rent free. My son is in Iraq and making a fist-full of money every month, but I allow them to stay here so they can save all the money they can for a future home. I am on disability.

Its because I grew up with 5 other siblings. We had to protect what was ours & I am still like this in my adulthood.
