I was thinking of calling my firm this when I start one. What do you think of this name. Pretty catchy and too the point. Wonder if the Bar would have a problem with this name. Any one out there who would know please let me know....

I think it will look appalling on the Court documents - don't do it!!!

And what will happen if you don't "get people off" criminal convictions? Will they sue you for misrepresentation?

There are strict limitations on what you may or may not call your law firm. I realize this is a joke, but I'll play. The guarantee implicit in your proposed firm name most likely violates the disciplinary rules of your state -- as does the sexual connotation. Just be normal and call yourself Pitchky & Schmidchky, just like everyone else.

You could have 2 businesses under one roof. One as a Law firm for criminals. The other as an agent who represents porn stars.

At the Gay Pride parade in San Francisco this year the lawyers from the City Public Defenders office marched in the parade wearing shirts that said "Getting you off since 1889"

You could branch out and have an escort service as a subsidiary with a name like that :)

Practically speaking, if you don't deliver, you will have vocal disgruntled clients and that will be the end of that.

I am sure you will learn the ethics of legal marketing in law school and adapt your point of view as needed at that time.
