The store I work at has a Secret Santa. i got the head of our cosmetics department. I just don't know what to get her.
She's in her 50s. According to other colleagues she likes getting her nails and hair done and she likes to make herself look pretty. The rules are the gift has to be over $20 and it cannot be from the store. I work at a retail drug store. Also we're not allowed to give gift cards or gift certificates. She's also moving in January. She's still staying with the company but just going to another store in a different state. i've only worked at the store for 6 months so I never really got to know her and we never really got along. But I still need an idea of what to get her so what can I get her?

make a basket with spa products. bath salts, soaps, lotions, exfoliates, candles chocolate's, fruits, cider or wine, cheeses, . Be careful baskets can get very expensive, Rule is to pick two of your largest items before picking a basket. Pack it building upward for dimension. It's a better visual stimulation :)

If she is moving, what about a makeup or cosmetic carry all, one with compartments, protection and water proof, not small as we are talking about a households worth of Bathroom and medical stuff

Or a book on moving tips, do'e and don'ts and never forget

It could sound like you want her to go, but with a card saying you will miss her stabling influence at the store and you know they are lucky to be getting her in the new place shows your respect without being mushy or pushy

Avon has some inexpensive gift ideas but, you take a chance on some items going on back order unless you get hair prods. or make-up, nail enamels... nail care items.

Put together a small gift basket of different items, i'd get ideas from other coworkers that know her better or just figure it out for yourself and go from there.

good luck Merry Christmas/ Happy New Year.

I always give food, or a basket of fruit, cookies, anything like that. If they have guest over they can put it out at least, and share with others if it is not their taste. Like Harry and David, Hickory Farms, or a local company.

Theme baskets are wonderful and they don't have to cost a fortune. Do a movie basket...a warm fuzzy throw, popcorn, candy, a couple of DVD's. Or an Italian basket...Wine, pasta, sauces, biscotti, etc.

gift baskets are great!

maybe since she is moving you can do something with that theme. add things that all new homes need at first. paper towels, toilet paper, drinks, snacks, maybe some thumb tacks or small nails, candles, batteries, a flashlight, cleaning supplies, sponges... stuff like that.
