I would welcome any Islamic leader to come up with a political solution instead of a radical one... I thought that was the point of all this ?....reduce radicalism by encouraging politics in a democracy.

I am not. The Bush Administration went after Saddam and the Iraqi government and has pretty much given up on Al Qaeda (THE ORGANIZATION THAT ATTACKED US ON 9/11) and Osama Bin Laden, who has taken the blame for these attacks. Al Qaeda is building strength in Pakistan while we are stuck in Iraq. If you didn't know, Iraq was a giant mistake and a distraction. Our military is literally being stretched to breaking point right now. We don't need that. We need a strong defense here at home. The borders are sitting wide open and since terrorists from large organizations such as Al Qaeda can fund to send terrorists world wide, they can and probably are coming through our borders from Mexico. If a poor Mexican woman and all of her children can sneak into this country, so can terrorists.

Political Islam can you tell me what that means please. Islam is not a threat to anyone. Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world and its a peaceful religion. People in the past have used christianity, judaism and islam as an excuse to kill people. That doesnt mean all Jews, Christians and Muslims are the same.

Political Islam...you mean Muslims are going to take over Congress and the executive offices? Yes I'm blind to that because there is no way this will happen. There is only one Muslim out of 535 members of congress, and none that I know of at the high levels of the executive branch.

I tend to feel that anything to far to the right or the left is not good. Islam in and of itself is not the villain. It is the militant few that seem to give all of Islam a bad name.

Since they and the country survived over twenty years of Fundamentalist Christian, they have nothing to fear from so called political Islam. Have yet to heard one Islamic Leader in USA spew the hate and discrimination many Fundamentalist Christian make their livelihood frothing out daily.
