Yes, just as in a general election, overseas American citizen troops get to vote in primaries. As a U.S. citizen, the right to vote cannot be denied regardless of your location.

They can vote by absentee ballot.

As for Rick K's comment about troops not voting for Ron Paul, I wouldn't count on that. According to FEC data on campaign contributions, the candidate who has received the most donations from active members of the US military is indeed Ron Paul.

As for my personal opinion on Ron Paul, I'm a bit undecided on him. I like some of his ideas, disagree with others, and think some of his fanboys are a little overzealous.

Still, I wouldn't be surprised if a good number of overseas troops vote for Ron Paul.

Yes, they can vote by absentee ballot. In fact, they are encouraged to do so.

No, they won't vote for Ron Paul. Not a single brave American defending our country overseas will vote for Ron Paul. Not one!

Because the brave Americans fighting overseas are heroes, not nut cases!

Lots of thumbs down, please. Even extra ones for this answer!

Vote for Rudy!

Yes they can, but the problem is the Dems never want to count their votes.
