I ran into someone last night who said that hematite would be the best stone ever. I carry 3 stones in my pocket all the time, althogh my amethyst goes missing all the time, then magically re-appears. What's up with that? (BTW) I have at least 3 ghosts in my house).

Soldiers used to carry hematite for protection and also if they were wounded in battle hematite is supposed to stop the blood flow...
It is also a good stone for women to carry during their moon cycle as it also eases the blood flow...
I have an amethyst clasp on my ceremonial robes, as it is a sign of a High Priest...
Ghosts do like to move things around and hide things, I know as I have one left, after I sent one of them to the light...

Crystals are interesting, I love them . The best crystal ever depends on your needs at the time. At one time, I would have yelled nephrite Jade at the top of my lungs. It really spoke to me. I got wonderful , strong vibrations from it. Now, not so much, I keep smoky quartz, citrine and moonstone with me now. those are my " big 3". I feel that the ones that we identify with and feel most strongly with are the ones we just happen to need at that time in our lives.
So the person who said Hematite, was needing the hematite and what it offers. Your thee bring to your life whatever you might need.

hematite is good to draw out bad energy i had a ring for 3 hrs that shattered for no reason than felt better than i had in 4yrs all in all black Opel is the best for me
