Yes...when I was 5 I went in Texas.

No...but I played hop-scotch a lot. Does that count as skipping?

Yes I was in 2...I was in an advanced English and History class.
Have you ever flunked a grade?
No...but I flunked half a semester of Advanced English...thus I was no longer allowed to be in Advanced English.
If you're not a student right now, did you graduate?
Yes...I graduated high school in 2004 in Nevada.

Yes for about a month.

No I hated college so I went to a vocational trade school in Texas instead where I have completed two trades and am currently looking for employment in one of those fields.

I didn't go to Pre-k My MOM was my pre-k teacher in my house.
I have never skipped a grade per-say but when I was in 5th grade I was the only one in my College reading class.
I was in a few advanced classes.
I NEVER flunked a grade
Yes, I am not a student at this time, BUT, I will be going back to college, Yes, I graduated high school and was one class short of my associates degree when I had to drop out because I have cancer.
I am going back to get my degree. It's my life's dream and goal!

My daughter went to Pre-K and she just loved it. I think its a good idea for kids to be around their peers without mom and dad around it helps them learn to listen to other besides mom and dad. I think my daughter learned a lot from Pre-k. The Pre-K she went to was only 3x a week for only 3 hrs. I think that was just enough. It was good for her to sit down and have snack and lunch with her peers. This is something she can't do at home. I believe it improved her table manners a great deal. I think a child would be taken back when entering kindergarten if he/she has never been in school before it could be a scary thing for them and you don't want to start them off on the wrong foot. My son will be going to the same Pre-K my daughter did this fall. And I am sure he will get a lot from it as did my daughter who is now in kindergarten. Good Luck but I think your child would benefit from it. As most children most likely do.

No...I was supposed to skip first grade but I changed school districts and the new one wouldn't even test me. I was bored to death all of first and second grade.

I did go to pre-k... we called it Nursery school.
Never skipped a grade.
I was in Advanced French in High school, got to go on a trip to Quebec City with older students... that was cool.
Never flunked a grade.
I graduated high school in 1986 and college in 1990.
But I still need education...
