In August 2007 I got the Depo Provera shot. After I got home from the dr. I did my own research and was nervous about my decision. For so many reasons I opted not to get the 2nd shot in November. Is it normal now to have not yet gotten a period and if so when is it normal to begin menstrating again. I never got a period during the 3months on Depo. Normally I have very light 2-3 day periods without contraception.

It could take a while to get your period back.
I went on Kariva immediately and got it back in three months.

I did not like depo I never had a regular period but after my second shot had spotting EVERY DAY!!! Once I stopped taking it my period come back (normal) within 2 months (although I did start taking orto try cyclone right away)
